Homeownership at Second Highest Level Since 2000

The U.S. Census Bureau has just reported that homeownership is at its second highest level on record, only behind the record year of 2000. The U. S. Census Bureau has been collecting homeownership data since 1890. While the national homeownership rate remains high, the decease from the 2000 rate was 1.1%.
