Record Low Mortgage Interest Rates

The average rate on 30-year fixed rate mortgages dropped to 3.9%. This is the lowest rate since records have been kept in the 1950's. For 15-year mortgages, the rate fell to 3.21% from 3.27%. This is also a record.
